FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS has been going for a year – and what a year it’s been!

Fans have experienced a new take on the original FINAL FANTASY VII, re-experienced Zack’s adventures from CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- and, excitingly, been given a glimpse into the earliest days of SOLDIER and Sephiroth’s formative experiences. Plus, there have been incredible costumes and awesome weapons a-plenty. As we said, quite a year!

But that’s enough looking back because there’s still so much to come! The Anniversary celebration brings new events, new gear and loads of fun

New story event: “The Cetra’s Story: Birth of the Destroyer”

In celebration of the 1st Anniversary, you’ll be able to play through a new event, “The Cetra’s Story: Birth of the Destroyer”… starring a name very familiar to FINAL FANTASY fans: Bahamut!

Cloud and his friends suddenly find themselves the target of a white Bahamut’s wrath—only to be saved by an Ancient. Learn the story of Bahamut and the dragonmasters as told by the Cetra!

New Bahamut-inspired gear

Alongside the new story content is special Anniversary gear for Cloud, Aerith, Tifa and Yuffie! This too is themed around Bahamut – and looks appropriately awesome:

As part of the celebrations, you can get a set of gear of your choice from a selection of those released over the last year. Had your eye on a particular set that you haven’t managed to snag yet? This may be your chance!

  • Available 7:00pm September 6 until 6:59am March 6, 2025 (PDT)
  • Exchange a special ticket that will be distributed as a gift on the day of the event Sep. 6 PDT to obtain Gear.
  • The exchange applies to all Gear that was released up until Apr. 29 PDT 2024.
  • Certain limited Gear, such as Crossovers, are not included in the lineup.
  • Players who already have all sets of Gear included in the lineup can exchange the above mentioned ticket for Mythril Ingot x10 instead.

There are more perks to playing during the Anniversary celebrations too, including:

  • 5? Weapon x26 Login Bonus – In celebration of the 1st Anniversary, a campaign is being held in which you can obtain a total of twenty-six 5? Weapons. From the current selection of 13 playable characters, 2 weapons for each character can be obtained in the Login Bonus. It means that new players, or players who have had trouble advancing in the past, can enjoy FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS even more!

  • Raise 26 5? Weapons to Lv. 80 – Raise 26 5? Weapons to Lv. 80 with Enhancement Material & Gil! You can obtain these as rewards in the Panel Missions or the Login Bonus.

  • Up-to 300 Free Draws – A free Draw that guarantees one or more 5? weapons will be available, in which players can get up to Draw x300 during the anniversary! The character weapons available for this Draw change daily, so make sure to check it out to strengthen your FFVIIEC team.

Battle Tower: Singularity The Maelstrom Tower Chaos of the Corrupted

Get ready for a new challenge. In preparation for changes to the battle experience coming in the 1st Anniversary, the new event, “Battle Tower: Singularity The Maelstrom Tower Chaos of the Corrupted” is also taking place.

This event will feature a wide range of quests, from low difficulty quests that are easy for new players to try, to high difficulty quests that only a handful people on the management team were able to complete… and even then, just barely!

As Clear Rewards for each level, you’ll earn special items that can be exchanged for Ultimate Weapons*, a total of Blue Crystal x10,000, and other luxurious rewards. Good luck!

*The Ultimate Weapons that can be exchanged in this event differ from the Ultimate Weapons that appear in the Draw.
