“Scotland’s largest export”, thrills original GTA writer.
An hour of gameplay time in Grand Theft Auto 5 represents no less than £1.7 million out of Rockstar and Take-Two’s wallet, it seems. As revealed by studio co-founder Dan Houser in the Guardian, the new GTA is no less than 100 hours long. According to the Scotsman, meanwhile, the final development and marketing bill is around £170 million, making this one of the most expensive videogame projects ever.
