Pokémon Legends: Arceus held onto the top spot in the UK charts for three weeks, even holding off one high profile multi-platform release in the process; it’s finally been toppled though, with naturally reducing sales combined with the arrival of Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4/5.

Nevertheless it’s still been another solid week for Switch titles in the UK charts, with the usual customers like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons holding their own in the top 10. Minecraft in the chart is specifically the Switch version, as a reminder, while Just Dance 22 might as well be – 93% of its sales last week were the Switch version.

Statistic of the week probably goes to FIFA 22, with Switch being the leading platform this week with 33% of sales, showing that some are perfectly happy with the ‘legacy’ option on Nintendo’s system.
