Bandai Namco Appears To Be Working On A “Remaster/Remake Of A 3D Action” Nintendo Game
What could it be?
Bandai Namco – the Japanese company behind series like Tekken and Pac-Man – appears to have a new project in the works that’s been contracted by Nintendo.
According to multiple job listings on Bandai Namco’s Japanese website (via ResetEra), it’s going to be a remaster/remake of a 3D action Nintendo game. Bandai Namco is seeking planners and visual artists to perform HD remastering of 3D backgrounds.
Here’s a rough Google translation of one of these job descriptions:
“You will develop as a planner of the 3D action game project of the Nintendo contract project.”
Bandai Namco has helped out Nintendo on all sorts of games in the past. One of the highlights of the Switch generation so far has been Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – which even features characters like Pac-Man and Kazuya.
