Clan O’Conall Is A Hand-Drawn Action-Platformer Hopping Over To Switch Very Soon
Fancy a game on Switch that’s based on Celtic mythology? We don’t get too many of those, sorry — but you’ll enjoy Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag, an action-platformer made by Canadian studio HitGrab.
Based on Irish, Welsh, and English archaeology, art, and history, Clan O’Conall is all about a group of three fighters — Haggish, the heavyweight bruiser, Kilcannon, master of sword and javelin, and Clakshot, a speedy ranger — who are fighting their way towards the Mother of Demons, Caoránach, to rescue their father.
You’ll also be tussling with a number of Celtic-inspired bosses along the way, like the giant hell-boar Twrch Trwyth, the headless horseman Dullahan, and the colossal cyclops Balor.
The game has just been announced for a June 2nd, 2022 release on Nintendo Switch, where it’ll cost £5.59 / $7.49 / €6,19.
Does this game Cel-tickle your fancy? Let us know in the comments, and sorry about the bad pun. It’s really hard to make Celtic puns, okay?
