Random: Popular Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Glitch Can Get You 10,000 Arrows In Minutes

While some people are still discovering new things to do in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, others are making the game do new things for them. We have reported on a number of occasions about the Inventory Slot Transfer glitch in the game and how it can be used to max out your materials or provide all the Korok Seeds (though good luck sleeping after using that method, Hestu knows your secret).

The popular glitch has come up gold once again this week as the YouTube channel Gaming Reinvented has discovered yet another use for this fiddly alteration. This time, instead of simply maxing out your materials to the usual highest quantity of 999, this method (involving a trip to our beloved Eventide Island) lets you bulk up your quiver to hold 10,000 of each arrow.

The full run-through of the glitch in action can be found in the video at the top of this article, but for those of you who want to perform this trick on the go, we have broken it down into the following steps:

  1. Make sure you have enough empty weapon slots to match the arrow type that you want to corrupt. The arrow count goes as follows: Arrow, Fire Arrow, Ice Arrow, Shock Arrow, Bomb Arrow, Ancient Arrow. If you want to corrupt, let’s say, your Ancient Arrows, you’ll need six weapon slots available, five for Bomb Arrows, four for Shock and so on…
  2. Equip the final bow in your inventory — this will provide the ability value for the arrow count, so make sure to pick a good one.
  3. Save the game.
  4. You need as many glitch slots as there are key items and weapon slots put together, calculate this to work out how many IST slots you will need.
  5. Set up the IST slots as usual (we recommend using this Gaming Reinvented video if this is new to you).
  6. Head over to Eventide Island and collect as many weapons as needed to fill the glitched slots – if duplicating Ancient Arrows, you’ll want to collect six weapons.
  7. Reload the save from step 3.
  8. Don’t open the menu or reload the game! Instead, run around until you hit an autosave.
  9. Reload the autosave.

Bah Bah Bah Baaaaaaa (wow, the Zelda chest sound really doesn’t work well on the page), you will now have 10,000 of whichever item you chose to corrupt! Easy, right? Well, no, but it sure will make the game a whole lot more interesting when you can go about firing off arrows willy-nilly without needing to worry about the dreaded empty quiver.

Be sure to check out the full video above for a detailed rundown of the glitch process.
