Head on over to the newly-constructed stand in the centre of Splatsville Square for the chance to vote on which is the best starter type and redeem your free Splatfest t-shirt.

The Deep Cut trio have announced which team they will each be representing, with Shiver heading up Team Grass-Type, Frye for Fire-Type and Big Man flying the flag for Team Water-Type (obviously).

The team that you choose will dictate which t-shirt you get, so pick carefully! We all have the next week to get playing in these new tops so they are sufficiently levelled-up for the big weekend, after which they will no longer be available.

Original article [Fri 7th Oct, 2022 14:10 BST]: Gotta splat ’em all in Splatoon 3 on 11th November! Nintendo has revealed the theme of the next Splatfest, alongside when it all kicks off. And given the time of year it’ll be taking place, the theme couldn’t be more appropriate.

Splatoon 3 is collaborating with Pokémon to celebrate the release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet in the way it knows best — by throwing a Pokémon-themed Splatfest! Kicking off on 11th November at 4pm PT (times for other regions to be announced), Nintendo is asking one of the most difficult questions ever — which starter type do you choose?

Will you be Team Grass-type, Team Fire-type, or Team Water-type? You’ll get to make your decision and make your voice heard in November’s Spaltfest! An event hasn’t been announced for October yet, but we’d love it if Nintendo doesn’t skip Halloween! Let us be spooky!

The winner of the last Splatfest, which took place in September, was Team Gear under Shiver.

Which team do you think you’ll be choosing for November’s Splatfest? Let us know!
