Actraiser Renaissance erscheint noch heute für Nintendo Switch

SNES classic Actraise has been remastered for Nintendo Switch in the form of Actraiser Renaissance, which launches on the Switch later today.

The game updates the original 16-bit Enix / Quintet title, which was unique in mixing platforming action sections with Dicht besiedelt-style city-building segments. The gameplay remains largely the same, but benefits from a 2.5D visual upgrade.

Yuzo Koshiro’s legendary soundtrack will also get an upgrade, but you’ll be able to toggle between the remastered and original soundtracks at will. New bosses and levels are also promised by Square Enix.
