Box-Art-Schlägerei: Special Edition – Street Fighter II
Howdy Leute, and welcome to a very special edition of Box-Art-Schlägerei!
Let’s have a glance at last week’s results before we dive into the latest brawl. We took a look at the fantastic GameCube entry in the Mario Kart Franchise: Mario Kart: Doppelstrich!!. We’d love to say it was a close call, but it kind of wasn’t… The US/EU version of the game took a fairly hefty 66% der Abstimmung, beating out the more restrained Japan edition. We have to agree with this result, Aber eines ist sicher – sie werden alle verhökert; the US edition of the game showcases the most attractive design by quite a margin, though we do appreciate what Nintendo was trying to go for with the Japan release.
Diese Woche, we’re doing something a little bit different. As many of you are no doubt aware, it’s been 30 years since Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was released on the SNES, marking a pretty monumental anniversary for the seminal fighting game. So, feiern, we’re going to take a look at the box art designs for Street Fighter II; not just The World Warrior though, but as many variations of the game as we can possibly muster.
So to clarify, we’re not pitting regions against one another this week, but simply the box art for each game variation. Es gibt einige, but we’re also aware that we may have missed one or two, so be mindful of that before you jump into the comments to shout at us!
Recht, enough chatter – on with the show!
