EA has "half a dozen" original properties in development, says Gibeau

“The plan is each year you’ll see one to two new IP from us coming out”.

EA labels boss Frank Gibeau has told CVG in an interview that the company plans to release “one to two” new IPs on next-gen consoles every year, but only after it takes a bit of time to successfully transition its existing franchises to the next generation platforms.
