Und jetzt, Sensor Tower reports that the strategy RPG mobile spin-off has surpassed that figure, becoming Nintendo’s most successful mobile game ever (thanks gameindustry.biz!). It also means that the crossover game is the most successful Fire Emblem game ever.

Heroes is now the only one of Nintendo’s mobile titles to pass the $1 billion mark, and it’s pretty healthily ahead of the next-best competitors from the Big N — Mario Kart-Tour und Animal Crossing: Taschenlager — which have both made around $282 million in global spending.

Dragalia verloren, which is currently in its final chapter and will be closing down later this year, is fourth at $168 Millionen.
