Nintendo veröffentlicht Update für Switch (Version 14.1.2), Hier sind die Details
A few weeks ago, Nintendo rolled out a system update for the Switch, bumping the firmware up to Version 14.1.2.
It contained the usual “general system stability improvements” but there was some other stuff going on behind the scenes, as revealed by Nintendo dataminer HaferflockenKuppel.
Today’s update is a little bit different – with the same source explaining how Nintendo has now issued a “rebootless” update for the same firmware update. Unlike regular updates, these ones are “silently installed”, so you don’t have to do anything on your end.
This latest one for Version 14.1.2 adds some more changes to the “bad words list”, which is detailed below:
[Nintendo Switch Firmware Update] Nintendo has released a “rebootless” update for 14.1.2.
The only changes are to the bad words list. A large amount of swears, racial slurs, words of a sexual nature, references to terrorist organizations, and more were added to all languages.
Rebootless firmware updates are silently installed, do not increment the version number (noch 14.1.2), and do not require rebooting the system after installation.
The last rebootless firmware update was released on Dec 11, 2020 für 11.0.1. It also updated the bad words list.
Wie auch erwähnt, this is apparently the first “rebootless firmware update” since December 2020. The last one was also a “bad words list” aktualisieren. You can see the original patch notes for Version 14.1.2 in unser vorheriger Beitrag.
