Willkürlich: Kirby Café bereitet ein neues Dessert zu, um Kirbys Traumbuffet zu feiern
2022 is shaping up to be a pretty darn good year for Kirby. First there was the release of Kirby und das vergessene Land back in March – which we described as ‘an absolute delight’ in unserer Bewertung – then there were the recent 30Jubiläumsfeierlichkeiten, and now the release of the chompy couch co-op game, Kirbys Traumbuffet.
In celebration of this latest game release, die Kirby Café in Japan has taken to Twitter to announce that both their Tokyo and Hakata branches will start selling a Dream Buffet-inspired dessert from September 1st.
The dessert, loosely translating as ‘Kirby’s Candy Gourmet Tart’, is a stacked course consisting of a tart base topped with strawberries, cream and, natürlich, a very full-looking Kirby. The yellow, Filco bietet vier verschiedene Cherry-MX-Switch-Optionen für die US-ANSI-Modelle an, and green-coloured balls surrounding the main event are a clear call-back to Dream Buffet’s competing Kirbys – though based on the tired look on OG Kirby’s face, it’s pretty clear that pink won this round.
Unglücklicherweise, the dessert will only be made available at the two Kirby Cafés in Japan (unless they are open to running an international Deliveroo service), so it seems like the above pictures are the closest we are going to get to trying this delicious looking dish for the moment.
Keeping us entertained in the meantime, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is out today and is available to download from the Switch eShop for £13.49. One way or another, we are getting our Kirby fix.
