Later this year, Sega is releasing Sonic Frontiers – a brand new mainline entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series.

Details are still quite scarce, but we do know some things…like how the Die Erzählung des Spiels wird von Ian Flynn bearbeitet – der Headwriter von IDWs aktuellem Sonic the Hedgehog Comic.

Jetzt, in the latest development, Sonic fans have become fixated with a pink-haired human-like character that was shown in during the first episode of TailsTube yesterday. And some even seem to think it’s got something to do with the upcoming game.

Apart from Ian Flynn who responded with the hashtag “knowing smile”, it’s got to the stage now where even the creative director of Sonic the Hedgehog, Kazuyuki Hoshino, has responded to fan art of the character.
