The makers of PHOGS!, a chaotically silly dog-wiggling co-op game, have returned to the Switch with Tray Racers, a similarly goofy multiplayer racing game that’s all about using trays as snowboards to surf across sand dunes.

Bis zu 16 players can grab a tray and get going in the online multiplayer mode, with cool tricks and combos to pull off and a character customiser to set yourself apart from the crowd — or you can just attempt to get the best time in the solo mode instead.

And we’re not sure why this exists, but we’re glad it does: Tray Racers comes with a dedicated “pet” button, which means you can pet everything. It’s the video game we’ve always wanted.

Tray Racers will be coming for free to the Nintendo Switch and PC some time in 2023.
