Nun, it’s about damn time. Claire Redfield (FYI, the only classic Resi character not to be formally trained in combat and the only one able to carry off a bicycle shorts and pink denim gilet combo) finally returns to the forefront of the Resident Evil franchise, after making only bit-part appearances in non-canonical spin-off titles following her starring role in Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The faux pas of making googly eyes at wet blanket Steve Burnside aside, she proved a capable protagonist in both that title and her series debut in Resident Evil 2. But while Leon and big brother Chris went on to become poster children for the series, Claire undeservedly fell into obscurity.
