Sega Sammy Holdings recently posted its financial results for the three months ended June 2022, highlighting a surprising increase in net sales and profits considering an overall lack of major releases (thanks, GamesIndustry.biz).

In terms of net sales, the company total ¥66.1 billion ($496 Millionen), which is an upturn of 11.2% Jahr für Jahr. Profits increased by 7.5% year on year, totalling ¥3.16 billion ($23.5 Millionen).

Looking at gaming software, Sega announced it sold a total of 5.14 million units during the quarter, though it refrained from specifiying individual game performances.
