Sonic trifft Tron in „Chameneon“, Ein schneller neuer Neon-Läufer
If you are looking for another animal-based runner to fill a Sonic-shaped hole in your heart then look no further. QUByte Interactive has recently revealed that their chameleon neon platformer, Chameneon (see what they did there?), is coming to the Switch eShop on August 18th.
The game sees you play as a chameleon who rides along neon strips of light in order to save the universe. As if that doesn’t sound crazy enough, your reptilian avatar appears to be trained in some kind of gymnastics as he flip, flop and flies through the air to reach his next track.
You mean to tell us that you kippen picture a chameleon riding a neon wave? Check out some more official info about the game below followed by a series of images that will give you a suitable idea of this concept in action.
In the game, a virus has infected the Cyber Space and now is up to you initiate the protocol CHAMENEON. Surf on the neon lines in the Cyber Space and defeat the virus before is too late.
With unique physics, Chameneon creates a great challenge that requires good precision and reflexes to surpass it. With a simple but brutal gameplay and a ton of stages to go through, you’ll be tested to the limit!
Lauf, jump, dodge and collect the Neon Disks to show everyone who’s the boss. It’s your time to shiny!
The little chap’s spin jump and momentum-based leaps from neon discs had us thinking of Scrap Brain Zone. Just us?
The game launches on Switch eShop on August 18th for $3.99 (oder Ihr regionales Äquivalent). We’re not sure that the little chameleon would be able to fully hold his own against Jeff Bridges in the Tron arena, but we’d certainly pay more than £3 to see this neon-rider give it a try.
What do you make of Chameneon? Will you be giving it a try? Let us know in the comments below!
