Microids has revealed that New Joe & Mac: Höhlenmensch Ninja, a remake of the 1991 Super Nintendo classic, will be wheeling its way onto Switch this November.

A remake from the team behind Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All (Mr Nutz Studio), we’ll be travelling back in time to join the two cavemen who are on a mission to rescue their wives who have been kidnapped by a rival group! Developed by Mr. Nutz Studio (Toki, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!) this new iteration of the cult arcade classic will invite players to discover a trustful remake and enriched with an Arcade Mode, offering a remaster of the original game, as well as a longer version of the story mode called Verlängert. Just like the original game developed for arcade play in the ’90s, New Joe & Mac: Höhlenmensch Ninja will offer a local two-player co-op mode. Zusätzlich, the game will also contain a training mode, a boss rush mode and even a speedrun mode!
