Titanfall will not feature microtransactions according to community manager

Future content a possibility, but microtransactions are “not us”.

Microtransactions are a controversial topic – to some, they’re useful timesavers that allow those with the cash to skip elements that would otherwise be a grindfest. To others, they’re like paying for cheat codes and take away from the effort of actually playing the game. Respawn Entertainment have decided to avoid the argument completely by not going down that route for Titanfall.
