Nintendo surprised us today by dropping a brand new video on their YouTube channel all about Kirby. Angesichts dessen Kirby und das vergessene Land is still very fresh in our minds, this makes sense. But this one isn’t about Kirby’s adventure in a post-apocalyptic world, Ach nein. It’s something much more adorable than that.

Titled ‘Kirby’s Tiny World’, this is a video version (and a translated version, at that!) of the once Japan-only children’s picture book Kirby Time: Kirby’s Tiny World, which you can find on Japanese Books. Das ist richtig, we get read along time with Kirby for free! Und ehrlich, this is absolutely the cutest thing we’ve ever seen. Das ist richtig. Go home everyone else.

I’m sure many of us with kids will be using this to get their littluns to sleep tonight and over the weekend. So, thanks for helping us be good parents, Nintendo! And thanks for giving us even more Kirby content. We’d love a game that looks like this video and these books, wenn du schon dabei bist!

Kirby’s Tiny World is Book 4 in the ‘It’s Kirby Time’ picture book series, so we have a hunch we’ll be seeing more of these as there are seven of them. Time to get a playlist sorted…
