Was spielst du dieses Wochenende? (March 5th)
Nun, it seems that last week was the calm before the storm, richtig? It’s been a hectic few days in the land of Nintendo Life; chiefly, there was the big announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet during the Pokemon Presents showcase. We also saw the release of Square Enix’s Triangle Strategy and thought it was a darn good SRPG, and we provided our initial thoughts on the upcoming Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which you can also download a demo for right now! In other news, Cool Sh#t Magazine is doing what Nintendon’t with an unofficial F-Zero Championship, und Ace Attorney is getting a fancy 20th Anniversary Orchestral Concert.
Jetzt heißt es chillen u besprechen Sie unsere Spielpläne für das Wochenende. Ein paar MMitglieder des Nintendo Life-Teams haben unten genau das getan, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

This weekend is all about Dreiecksstrategie für mich. I really enjoyed the prologue demo and think the world-building and game loop is fantastic, it’s right up my alley. I’m also playing it with a bit of fear, as I’m sure I’ll make some bad decisions that’ll doom me to the worst ending. On the opposite side of the gaming spectrum I’ll be continuing Elden Ring. I’m past the “I can do this” stage and now in the “what the heck was that, I’ll never beat it” Phase. Gute Zeiten.

Dieses Wochenende, Ich habe Dreiecksstrategie on my list! I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time, and am excited to sink my teeth into it. I’ve also got plans to continue progressing in Pokémon-Legenden: Arceus und Pokémon: Glänzende Perle (because obviously that Pokémon-Geschenke got me all kinds of excited last week, zu).

This weekend I’m going to try to play through some more Das Intro von Portal 2 wurde anscheinend von der Eröffnung von Super Metroid inspiriert 2, which I bought on a whim despite not really being my kind of game at all. It had really great reviews, and people told me it was a good entry point into the series, aber meine Güte, it’s just a game about lady melons and cartoonishly long legs. I will admit, it’s quite (unbeabsichtigt) funny because of that.

Ahoy everyone! I’m afraid I won’t be playing Dreiecksstrategie this weekend; tactical RPGs aren’t my bag unfortunately, but I’m so pleased to see it reviewing so well! Stattdessen, I’ll be bagging a few more 3DS eShop gems ahead of the big closure looming in the distance. I recently bought the 3D Classics Kirby’s Adventure, which is just adorable, and the surprisingly tricky Höhlengeschichte.
I’m also still plugging away at Elden Ring over on the PS5 and although I’m probably not making as much progress as others, I did manage to defeat the dastardly Godrick the Grafted (with the help of a few summons and armament coatings…). Now I’m making my way through a schön new area and getting absolutely slaughtered every step of the way — fabulous!

It’s been a pretty busy week for me (I mean, many of you will have noticed that I started writing here this week!), so my gaming has sort of slipped by the wayside. And I might just be the only person who hasn’t picked up Elden Ring noch (Ich werde), and who still hasn’t finished Pokémon-Legenden: Arceus. I’m just having way too much fun exploring and catching ‘em all!
But I’ve had Die Tür des Todes nesting on my Switch for a few weeks now, and I think now is the time to start it! And if I’m going to play anything about, or related to, “Seelen” this week, might as well do it as a reaper crow and get my feathers handed to me time and time again. We’ll see if my free time allows it.

I’m a bit fearful for the amount of time I will be dropping into Dreiecksstrategie. I have completed the prologue demo, already making choices that will affect my entire campaign progress. I am already enthralled by the game’s rich lore and characters. This truly is the unexpected Da Taktikspiele heutzutage meine Lieblingsart sind – ein Spiegelbild des Alters und abgestumpfter Reflexe in Plattformspielen sequel I needed back in my life.
Spiel der Woche ist WEIT: Gezeitenwechsel. The original game was spot on perfect with its minimalist approach to an extinction event while letting players figure things out for themselves. Glad to report that the flooded wastelands of this sequel surpass an already brilliant offering. Get them both from the eShop!

With the launch of Kirby und das vergessene Land getting ever so close now, I’ve been trying to squeeze in as many Kirby games from my backlog as possible. This weekend, I’m playing through Kirby: Mouse Attack. You know it’s going to be good when you embark on an epic adventure to retrieve Kirby’s Strawberry Shortcake…I’ll definitely jump back on the Kirby und das vergessene Land demo too. With the inclusion of difficulty options and collectables, the demo has great replayability. unnötig zu erwähnen, I’m very excited for the full game!
