Of all the people to claim fictitious violence causes real violence, Commando’s John Matrix seems on the shakiest ground. But it was Arnold Schwarzenegger, then Governor of California, who backed a claim to the highest court of America that videogames increase aggression, cause neurological damage and more, and called for a bill restricting access to them for minors. The application pointed to a huge corpus of peer-reviewed scientific evidence.
