The latest generation AGON 5 models were first introduced in October with two 165 Hz models, also equipped with Fast IPS or Fast VA panels. Ahora, with the AG275QZ/EU and AG275QZN/EU, AGON by AOC raises the bar to e-sports-level at 270 Hz or 240 Hz. And just like their 165 Hz siblings, these new models are sold in paper cushion packaging that is 100% recyclable.

Both the AG275QZ/EU and AG275QZN/EU feature a revamped design compared to previous AGON models, with a sleeker and cleaner appearance. The 3-sides borderless design makes them ideal to be placed in multi-monitor setups. The metal base of their premium stand features a reduced footprint on the desk, so even compact battle stations can employ these monitors. Furthermore, with height-adjustable stands offering swivel, pivot and tilt functionality, the ergonomic AG275QZ/EU and AG275QZN/EU are suited for high-energy competitionsat home or on stage in tournaments. Thanks to the built-in cable-management opening in the stand and built-in power supply, these models reduce clutter on the desk allowing gamers to concentrate on the task at hand. A built-in 4-port USB hub (USB 3.2 Gen 1) is included in both models as well, so users can connect their peripherals, joysticks, or controller easily.

The AG275QZ/EU employs a Fast IPS panel with a Quantum Dot layer, which improves the colour accuracy and extends the colour gamut to reproduce rich, colores saturados, specified with 10-bit colour depth and 1.07 mil millones de colores. With a large gamut coverage of 99.9% AdobeRGB, 100% RGB y 97.5% DCI-P3, the AG275QZ/EU is highly suitable for content creators, Youtubers and live streamers. The monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 and HDR10 to reproduce high dynamic range content. Its native 240 Hz refresh rate can be overclocked easily from the monitor’s OSD to 270 Hz, making it one of the fastest QHD models on the market. The combination of a 270 Hz refresh rate with low response times and a sharp QHD resolution (2560×1440) indicate that this monitor will stay relevant for years to come.

The AG275QZN/EU, on the other hand features a Fast VA panel, con 16.7 million colours, and a higher contrast (3000:1) than the IPS-QD variant, so this model excels at dark, shadowy screen content, reproducing rich, deep blacks. The AG275QZN/EU is also certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and supports HDR10 and offers a great gamut coverage of 89.3% AdobeRGB, 99.7% RGB y 89.9% DCI-P3.

For both the IPS (AG275QZ/EU) or the VA variant (AG275QZN/EU), multiple pixel overdrive modes let these monitors achieve an impressive 1 tiempo de respuesta ms GtG, and the Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) can cut the perceived response time to just 0.5 ms MPRT. Both models feature Adaptive-Sync, meaning they support common variable refresh rate implementations to eliminate screen tearing or stutter. Furthermore, with the Console Mode, these models can be used with the latest-gen consoles in their 2560×1440 @ 120 Hz modesthey can accept a 4K signal and downscale to 2560×1440 while the high refresh rate is enabled.

The comprehensive menu system on its OSD can be used with a joystick or the AOC G-Menu software, allowing users to change colour/luminance settings to calibrate them to perfection, as well as offering gaming or comfort features such as crosshair overlay, Shadow Control or Low Blue mode.
