Filco lanza el teclado Majestouch 2S Metal SUS de acero inoxidable

Si ha estado buscando un teclado realmente duradero, Filco podría tener lo que estaba esperando en forma de Majestouch 2S Metal SUS, un teclado alojado dentro de un 1.6 a 2 mm de espesor SUS304HL (HL para acabado capilar) chasis de acero inoxidable. El teclado pesa casi 4.4 kg, aunque esto sí incluye el reposamuñecas integrado.

Además de su robusto chasis, el Majestouch 2S Metal SUS cuenta con patas atornillables de altura ajustable y si estas no son lo suficientemente altas, hay disponible un kit opcional para una altura aún mayor. Filco ofrece cuatro opciones diferentes de interruptores Cherry MX para los modelos ANSI de EE. UU., marrón, azul, rojo y plata (speed), whereas the Japanese version has to make do without the blue switches.

The keyboard has a hardwired USB cable, but it also comes with a PS/2 adapter. A small pad for the wrist rest is also supplied, that should make it slightly more comfortable to type on the keyboard. The supplied keycaps are made out of PBT, with a rather unusual light green colour for the legends. Rather unusually, Filco has gone for purple LEDs for the “lock” indicators. If you’re looking at picking one up, expect to pay a premium for it, as both the US and Japanese versions are going for the equivalent of US$336.
