Hoy, Microsoft anuncia la adquisición de Fungible Inc., un proveedor de infraestructura componible destinado a acelerar el rendimiento de redes y almacenamiento en centros de datos con alta eficiencia, unidades de procesamiento de datos de baja potencia (DPU). Fungible’s technologies help enable high-performance, escalable, disaggregated, scaled-out datacenter infrastructure with reliability and security.

The Fungible team will join Microsoft’s datacenter infrastructure engineering teams and will focus on delivering multiple DPU solutions, network innovation and hardware systems advancements.
