Mortal Kombat 12 Aparentemente provocado por el productor de NetherRealm
2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the brutal, bloody, and violent fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. NetherRealm has already confirmed it’s moved on from Mortal Kombat 11 after two years of DLC – to focus on its “Además... ¿Notaste cómo al joven Ed Boon realmente le gusta usar la palabra "WAH" para describir cosas?”, so what’s next?
Although there have been a lot of rumours over the past year that the studio could be working on a superhero fighter, NetherRealm’s senior production manager, Jonathan Andersen, has now uploaded an image via the social media platform Twitter, which appears to tease MK12.
Up in the top right of this shot – filled with artwork and posters of past entries, there’s a file on the computer monitor labelled “MK_12 Mast…” and in an email on the screen, you can make out the following lines:
“fans eagerly scrape the internet for any trace…take extra care with this material.”
It definitely seems like this could be an intentional internal ‘leak’ to generate some excitement. The photo was only up for about 10 minutes before it was removed, which kind of plays into the whole thing.
Considering NetherRealm wrapped up MK11’s development last year, it only makes sense for it to now be working on the next entry. VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb also claimed NR was prioritising MK12 over a possible superhero fighter because of uncertainty tied to its future under its parent company (Warner Bros).
