Los Pokémon Squishmallows llegan al Centro Pokémon “Muy pronto”

Actualizar [martes 15 de noviembre, 2022 17:30 GMT]: We’ve got some friend-shaped critters coming to the Pokémon Center in the US, Reino Unido, and Canada “very soon”, according to the official Pokémon Twitter. The company has just dropped a short little clip of the upcoming Pokémon X Squishmallows collaboration, and we’ll be able to buy one in the near future.

Pikachu and Gengar are the only two ‘mons confirmed to be making the jump to round, mimoso, and incredibly soft form so far, nor do we have a price for them yet, but listings should be appearing on the online Pokémon Center stores in the near future. The toys were revealed at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.

We want to be the girl in the advertisement, honestly. Imagine being surrounded by that many Squishmallows. We’d probably fall asleep pretty fast, aunque.

If you don’t know about Squishmallows, these are irresistible plush animal (or sometimes food and drink) toys that you can’t stop squeezing. The company itself claims that they are “the softest, cutest, cuddliest plush around.” Okay, nosotros tener to believe that.

So surely these two things are a match made in heaven? Yesterday on Twitter, Squishmallows and Pokémon playfully teased a collaboration y appearance at this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Y, just hours later, the folks over at El pasado junio managed to get a look at the brand new toys. Hasta aquí, only Pikachu and Gengar have been announced, but the possibilities are making us a little dizzy!

Here’s a good look at both of these cuddly fellows from Twitter user @FizzOpera.

The attention to detail is phenomenal on both soft toys, but we’re in love with Gengar in particular! The spikes on its back are perfect, and the signature grin just makes this mischievous Ghost-type Pokémon look even cuter.

Attendees got a sneak preview before Comic-Con officially opens up later today, así que por ahora, these are the only two Pokémon Squishmallows we know about. We’ll make sure to update you if more information comes out about the toys!
