Tomorrow marks the launch of accessible, colourful platforming adventure Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan, and we here at Nintendo Life have gotten our eyes on the lovely-looking launch trailer a bit earlier than expected. As you can see above, it showcases Rainbow Billy’s world and his quest to best the titular leviathan and return colour to his surroundings.

Developer Manavoid Entertainment has crafted a platformer that mixes in puzzles, RPG elements and creature-collecting, and in a welcome break from the conflict and combat that are part and parcel of most games, it seems that Rainbow Billy is totally non-violent. Yep, apparently you resolve ‘engagements’ (as the PR blurb calls them) by building trust rather than opening various cans of whoop-ass. Novel!
