In the WWE, Payback is a… Pay-Per-View

June is payback time for WWE. WWE Superstars are seeking to settle scores and conclude feuds at Payback, to be aired this Sunday, Juin 1, à 8:00 PM (heure de l'Est) on WWE Network. Xbox owners can watch the event via WWE Network application on their consoles; an Xbox Live Gold subscription and a separate WWE Network subscription ($9.99) are required.

Revenge served ice cold is the theme for today, as Xbox Wire offers its insight into Payback.

Divas Championship Match: Paige v. Alicia Fox
As part of a psychotic break with reality, WWE Diva Alicia Fox recently gave a grown man a wedgie, proclaimed herself the queen, and stole a child’s soda to pour it over herself. Whatever happens when Fox tries to take the title from the Divas Champion Paige, there’s a chance it will not be half as awesome as the post-match celebration (or breakdown).

Hair v. Mask Match: Hornswoggle v. El Torito
This feud between WWE Superstars escalated in a big way when Hornswoggle pulled the cloth tail from El Torito’s bull costume. We are not making this up. Now the two are bound for Payback, with the loser destined to shed either his mask (Torito) or his leprechaun-turned-rockstar mane (Hornswoggle).

United States Championship Match: Sheamus v. Cesaro
Continuing the fine tradition of Swiss-Irish enmity, Cesaro seeks to unseat the “Celtic WarriorSheamus for the United States Heavyweight Championship. At stake is the right to uphold the honor of states no one would be caught dead in.

No Holds Barred Elimination Match: The Shield v. Evolution
This match pits the WWE’s old guard (Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista) against the upstarts in The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins). No holds barred means the referee can ignore any shenanigans, and the elimination portion ensures the combat continues unabated until one team’s members have all been pinnedor offer their submissions. Fight the power? Oh, it will be fought, and thusly.

Last Man Standing Match: John Cena v. Bray Wyatt
Heroic John Cena battles the villainous cult leader Bray Wyatt, and the goal here is to beat an opponent until he cannot get to his feet before a 10-count. …En savoir plus
