Intel définit le Xeon W “Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga” Lancement du processeur Workstation/HEDT pour février 15

Intel today revealed that it will launch its Xeon WSapphire Rapids-WSprocessors for workstations and high-end desktops (HEDTs) at a launch event dated February 15, 2023. The series is expected to consist of two distinct classes of processors, the Xeon W-2400 series, and the Xeon W-3400 series, which are rumored to be available from different dates within Q1-2023. The W-3400 series and W-2400 series could be differentiated with platform I/O and core-counts. The W-3400 series is expected to put out the full PCIe Gen 5 112-lane I/O of the “Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga” AMD prétend être le processeur de jeu le plus rapide au monde, while the W-2400 series has a narrower 64-lane PCIe Gen 5 interface. The two could also differ in DDR5 memory channels (8 for the W-3400 series vs. 4 for the W-2400 series), and hence maximum memory supported (4 TB vs. 2 TB, respectively), although both support ECC. Intel W790 is expected to be the common chipset for both.
