As revealed today on the show floor at Paris Games Week 2022, we’re excited to confirm the imminent arrival of Dune: Guerres des épices with PC Game Pass from French publisher Shiro Games (creators of the acclaimed Evoland et Northgard) and co-publisher Funcom. Dune: Guerres des épices is a must-have 4X strategy game for anyone who loves the Dune universe.

Since its world premiere announcment during The Game Awards last December, Dune: Guerres des épices entered early access on April 26 allowing Shiro Games to refine their ambitious strategy game with the aim for a full release in 2023. Now with its arrival soon with PC Game Pass, Dune: Guerres des épices will be able to count on more gamers to help continue this journey.

Set in the universe of Dune created by Frank Herbert, Dune: Guerres des épices is a 4X real-time strategy game that allows you to choose your faction and to launch yourself into a war for the control of spice on the planet Arrakis. Whether you select House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Corrino, Smugglers or Fremen, you will have access to specific bonuses that will dictate the best way to approach the game.

You will then have to recruit agents, build your first defenses, and start exploiting the territory around you before launching more dangerous expeditions in areas beyond your control. Dune: Guerres des épices also requires politics and good relations with the Imperium – it’s up to you to decide how to interact with the cities of Arrakis, whether by diplomacy or by force, and above all to pay your taxes on spice… otherwise your place in the Landsraad could be jeopardized.
