Les ports Nintendo Switch que nous aimerions voir dans 2022

Switch Ports We'd Like To See 2022

Another year, un autre 12 months of quality Switch ports. The past couple of years we’ve published a small wishlist of ports we’d love to see come to Switch and, dans l'ensemble, we’ve been pleased to see several games crossover to our favourite handheld hybrid. L'année dernière,, for example, we were jonesing for Les gars de l'automne, Outer Wilds, et Tony Hawk (among others, bien sûr), and they all got confirmed for Switch. Sure, only the latter is actually available at the time of writing, but we expect to see the other two arrive in 2022 — hopefully sooner rather than later.

An increasing number of Cloud Version games have crept onto Switch, and while some of them aren’t up to snuff, les autres function perfectly adequately — we’ll always prefer to see games running natively on the hardware, quoique.

We’ve also seen some of the remaining indie classics arrive on Switch — games like FEZ et Spelunkys 1 et 2. With Braid on the way, there can’t be too many indie darlings still missing from Switch. We’d pay handsomely to see FTL on Switch — then again, can we afford to lose dozens of hours to it all over again?

Below we’ve collected a small selection of the games we’d most like to see hop-skip-jump their way onto Switch in 2022. There are a few remaining Wii U games that haven’t come to Switch which we’ve excluded from the running, and a couple are holdovers from previous years (yes, we’ll keep putting Persona 5 on here chaque année, dagnabit) but each and every one would be gratefully received on Nintendo’s console should a publisher deign to make it happen.

Wallets open, money ready. Come on, it’s there for the takin’

Que vous aimiez ou détestiez les deckbuilders roguelike

Que vous aimiez ou détestiez les deckbuilders roguelike is a deckbuilding roguelike psychological horror puzzler and various other bits thrown into a piece of software that’s been the talk of Twitter for the last few months and also graced many a multiplatform GOTY list. Even if the word ‘roguelikehas you rolling your eyes into infinity, this is one you’ll want to put aside your preconceived notions for.

What are the chances?

Devolver Digital like the Switch. The game looks like a perfect fit for the platform. If we had to put our money on any game from this list coming to Switch, it would be this one.

Then again we said Persona 5 was a dead cert years ago.

Persona 5

We hate to keep harping onbut we’re gonna.

Persona 5, a game that — lest we forget — released on PS3 back in 2016, est encore not available on a Nintendo system. Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was pleasant enough, but it’s not Persona 5.

What are the chances?

Who can say when Atlus and Sega are concerned. They’re leaving a sizeable wad of cash on the table as far as we’re concerned, but perhaps Sony has the exclusivity rights tied up for something. If it was going to happen, it surely would have happened by now — but we’re optimists at heart. It’s never too late, Atlus.

It Takes Two

GOTY Winner at The Game Awards, It Takes Two relies on co-operation via splitscreen local (or online) play, and seems like it would be a perfect fit for Switch.

What are the chances?

The game was developed by Hazelight Studios and founder Josef FaresBrothers: A Tale of Two Sons est available on Switch. The studios previous game, A Way Out, is only available on other platforms, quoique, and with EA on publishing duties, it’s tough to predict whether or not Nintendo gamers will see this critically acclaimed title, however good a fit it would seem to be. Bringing it over might present an unappealing technical challenge, trop.

Mass Effect: Édition Légendaire

Nous avons Mass Effect 3 sur Wii U, remember? Souvenez-vous de la Wii U et de Mass Effect 3? Assis dans un arbre? K-I-S-S-I-N-G? C'était l'époque où les dirigeants d'EA regardaient les chiffres de la Wii et pensaient qu'il valait mieux faire tapis sur Wii U. Oopsidaisies.

What are the chances?

S'être fait piquer sur Wii U, EA doesn’t hasn’t bothered much with Switch. The likelihood of the trilogy making a surprise appearance on Switch is slim, but we’d love to go planet-hopping with Shepherd aboard the Normandy again. Allez sur, EA, give us this one.

Bugnax

A returner from last year, first-person bug-hunter Bugnax is still something we think would fit nicely on Switch. Nintendo gamers love ensnaring weird little monsters, après tout, and we’re eager to find out more after hearing strange murmurs over the last year concerning the exact nature of these ominously named entomological morsels.

What are the chances?

Jeunes Chevaux’ game was a PS launch exclusive on consoles, et the developer has saidwe’d love to bring the game to other platforms”. Performance was choppy on PS4, so a Switch version would be a challenge, but certainly possible.
