It’s been 5 whole years since Playtonic’s Yooka-Laylee lancé (albeit Switch owners needed to wait a bit longer) and the publisher is looking to celebrate the milestone throughout the day, even teasing some “surprises”.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on Playtonic’s feed and update on anything worthwhile, but we’re absolutely keeping our fingers crossed for some new gaming content: DLC pour Yooka-Laylee et le repaire impossible? A brand new game entirely? Whatever it is, sign us up!

Although the original Yooka-Laylee received a fair bit of flack upon its release, we thought the game had been given a decent bit of TLC for its launch on Switch, lui décernant un 8/10 Phoenotopia édition rétro 1296x.

Le Donkey Kong Country inspired spin-off faired even better, bagging a 9/10 for its visuals, gameplay, and sense of humour.
