20 il y a des années, Capcom altered the landscape of the survival horror genre
forever with the release of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Starring
franchise favorite Jill Valentine, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis featured her
harrowing escape from Raccoon City during the panic-stricken hours leading up
to and following the events of the acclaimed Resident Evil 2. Aujourd'hui, Capcom celebrated the anniversary of
this seminal survival horror masterpiece by announcing Resident Evil 3,
slated for release on April 3, 2020 sur Xbox One.

Once again utilizing the RE Engine that brought
last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake to life, Resident Evil
3 combines intense combat and puzzle solving to thrust players into the
pulse-pounding final chapter of Raccoon City’s collapse. The city itself comes
to life as never before thanks to the RE Engine, which provides players with
both high-definition visuals and modernized gameplay mechanics. The remake also
marks the first appearance of Nemesis, a hulking bioweapon that will stop at
nothing to get to Jill as she attempts to get away from the T-virus that’s
plaguing Raccoon City.

In addition to the single-player campaign, players can also dive into
previously untold Umbrella experiments on the outskirts of Raccoon City thanks
to the addition of the online asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance. A 4 vs. 1 multiplayer experience, La résistance
lets players assume the role of a Mastermind, who can manipulate the
environment and place vicious creatures, set traps and weaponized security
cameras to snare hapless Survivors. The four Survivors, de l'autre côté, must
effectively work together to stand a chance of escaping the experiment before
time runs out.

Finalement, North American console players will also be able to purchase a Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition, which contains a physical copy of Resident Evil 3, a Jill Valentine figurine, printed artbook, a Raccoon City map wall poster and a digital soundtrack. Everyone who pre-orders the game will also receive the exclusive Classic Costume Pack that features the original design for Jill Valentine and a unique hairstyle for Carlos Oliveira.
