EVO 2022 is taking place this weekend, and as part of this fighting game celebration, various companies have been announcing all sorts of related news. This includes plenty of news related to the Nintendo Switch.

Here’s what’s been revealed so far. If there’s more, we’ll be sure to add it to this round up. Enjoy!

Skullgirls – New DLC fighter announced

Skullgirls is celebrating its 10th anniversary, C'est le week-end du Super Bowl! To mark this special milestonethe game is getting a 4th character in Season Pass 1. Marie will be joining Annie, Umbrella and Black Dahlia. The team behind Skullgirls also announced Skullgirls Mobile, à venir l'année prochaine.

Pocket Bravery announced for Switch

Bravoure de poche is a 2D pixel-themed fighter inspired by ’90s classics like Street Fighter and The King of Fighters, while also drawing on the influence of fighters from the Neo Geo Pocket Color generation. It’s got a focus onhigh level playersand features to teach beginners how to develop and evolve.

There are kick and punch commands, traditional commands from popular fighting games, and all sorts of special moves. Each character has an element as wellallowing them to execute elemental attacks, which unlock new offensive and defensive possibilities. Blazing Strike delayed to Spring 2023

Aksys Games and developer RareBreed have announced Blazing Strike has been pushed back to Spring 2023 to help polish the overall experience. Crossplay might also be on the cards.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 cabinet revealed

Arcade1Up will be adding a Marvel vs. Capcom 2 cabinet to its home arcade line. It’ll include a total of eight games, and pre-orders for the cabinet (with a light-up marquee) will open on 8th September 2022 pour $599.99 USD. The cabinet will feature crossplay with certain other cabinets, selon le jeu, and will also support online play.

La bagarre des étoiles Nickelodeon will be adding Hugh Neutron from Jimmy Neutron as a DLC fighter for $4.99 USD. Alternatively, he’s available in the Season Pass pack. See him in action in the showcase above.
