That the gap between gaming and cinema is narrower than ever before is a given – developers like Crytek boast that their games are now as high fidelity as the latest Hollywood blockbusters. Mais en vérité, film and videogames have always enjoyed a close symbiotic relationship. Would Red Dead Redemption be the same game if A Fistful of Dollars had never existed? Would there have been a Dino Crisis if not for Jurassic Park? En quelque sorte, I doubt it.
