Ubisoft ferme les services en ligne pour trois titres Wii U en septembre

The Wii U generation saw Nintendo embrace online gaming more than the previous generations, et naturellement, les développeurs tiers de l'époque ont profité de cette nouvelle orientation. In a notice on its official website, Ubisoft mentions how it is closing online services for a selection of older games including ASSASSIN'S CREED 3, Rayman Legends et ZombiU on the Wii U. This decision is so Ubisoft can focus all of its resources on delivering great experiences for players who are enjoying “newer” et “more popular titles”.

This list also covers a number of PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC releases. By September – Wii U players will no longer be able to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features in the above-mentioned titles (this includes multiplayer in AC3).
