A quoi jouez-vous ce week-end? (9 octobre)

It’s been a particularly crazy and busy week in the world of Nintendo, as you’ve no doubt noticed! The biggest event was undoubtedly Masahiro Sakurai’s final presentation for Smash Ultimate which confirmed the arrival of Sora. There’ve been two huge arrivals; you can check out our Switch OLED hardware review et Metroid Dread review si tu veux. Other huge news was confirmation of GTA Trilogy for Switch, and silliness with the darn AAA Clock being a thing. Oh, and we showcased some awesome Indie games in our very own Pleins feux sur la vie indépendante de Nintendo.

Alors, profonde respiration. After all that it’s time to chill out and discuter de nos plans de jeu du week-end. Quelques mles membres de l'équipe Nintendo Life ont fait exactement cela ci-dessous, alors n'hésitez pas à lire nos entrées, puis à participer aux vôtres via notre section de commentaires. Enjoy!

Oui, I will be playing a lot of Terreur Metroid, I’m bloominexcited about it too! I did also fall into the Nintendo trap and get an OLED, mainly because I play in portable mode about 90% du temps. Old favourites I plan to try out briefly on the new screen include Okami HD, ASTRAL CHAIN et Streets of Rage 4, among others. And it’s time for my annual playthrough of Resident Evil 4, so I’ll kick that off.

Elsewhere I may give Nexus écarlate a try, it looks delightfully silly and fun.

I’m either playing one single game with a laser-focus or I’m playing three different sprawling RPGs at the same time, and this week, it’s the latter: Vers l'est, [EXPURGÉ], et Ni No Kuni, which I picked up during the blockbuster sale for a pittance. I played the sequel, but I’m in awe of how different NNK 1 is from NNK 2. PlatinumGames est désireux de créer des titres qui sont, Et mieux, although they’re both excellent.

It’s here folks! Metroid Dread is finally a real thing, and it’s actually here! It honestly feels so good to boot up a brand new Metroid game after what feels like decades of waiting, franchement. I can’t wait to get stuck in properly and see how it all plays out.

That’s pretty much it for me this weekend for the Switch, but I’m also working my way through Alan Wake remasterisé sur Xbox. I adore that game so much; with its Stephen King and Twin Peaks elements, it’s like Remedy just said “droite, how can we make a game specifically for Ollie?” Just wonderful stuff.

Ce week-end, I’ve got a hodgepodge of games I’ll be playing: commencer, you know I’ll be picking up Metroid Dread like the rest of the worldSO excited. Then, WarioWare: Faire ensemble! still has a bit of a hold on me, so I’m sure I’ll play a bit of that. Enfin, I’ve been getting back into games with fall/spoopy themes like the Scorpio I am – à savoir Stardew Valley et Le manoir de Luigi 3 (but if any other Scorpios have suggestions of favorite fall games I should play, throw ’em in the comments!)
