Le nouveau moteur de jeu du Yacht Club alimente un projet 3D non annoncé
We’ve heard before about the Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games working on a “new 3D project” and now it seems to have come up again during an interview Ars Technica. Yacht Club’s game designer Alec Faulkner has revealed how the Mina le creuseur engine is also powering a new “unannounced 3D game”:
“This engine is actually brand new, made from scratch by our team. That’s been our secret for the past five or six years—it’s being used to develop both this game and concurrently our unannounced 3D game.”
While Mina might look similar to a title like Link's Awakening on Game Boy Color, Apparemment “under the hood” it’s got more in common with a game like Souffle de la nature.
Back in 2020, Yacht Club Games’ mentioned how the next logical step was to work its way up to a “big 3D game”, pendant ce temps-là issuing a reminder it was working on a “new 3D project” via a job listing.
Yacht Club Games has just released Pelle Chevalier Creuser with the assistance of developer Nitrome, and it seems to have struck gold with this latest release. You can learn about it in our review:
