Free-To-Play Battle Royale My Hero Ultra Rumble Locks In Local Switch Release
Earlier this year, Bandai Namco announced a new free-to-play 24 player battle royale – based on the My Hero Academia universe – would be coming to the Nintendo Switch and multiple other platforms in Japan.
Now, during this weekend’s Anime Expo, it’s been confirmed the game will be receiving a western release. Pre-registrations for the Closed Beta on PlayStation 4 have now opened. And as part of this announcement, a new trailer has been released – showcasing some cinematics as well as the gameplay.
As you can see, all the major characters from the show will feature – from heroes like All Might, Deku and even Tsuyu “Froppy” Asui. Heroes will select from assault, support or disruption classes in battle, team up with others, and use their “Quirks” to fight.
There’s no word on a local release date just yet, but if we hear any updates, we’ll let you know.
