innocn Shows Off Mini-LED, Fast IPS, and Curved OLED Gaming Monitors at CES

New entrant innocn showed off five new gaming monitors at the 2023 International CES, of various shapes and sizes, and with various display panel technologies. The 27B8U is a stunning, no-nonsense, 27-inch planar monitor with 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, standard 60 Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms response time from its OLED panel. The 32A6U is another planar beauty, albeit larger at 31.5-inch panel size. It features an IPS panel with mini-LED backlighting, and 2,304 local dimming zones. This one, too, has a 60 Hz refresh-rate. The S48A8V-S is a 48-inch “large-format” gaming monitor with an OLED planar panel that has 4K Ultra HD resolution, 138 Hz refresh-rate, and 0.03 ms response time.

Things get interesting with the company’s curved gaming monitors, starting with the 45E3R, a 44.5-inch curved super-ultrawide monitor with 32:9 aspect ratio for the VA panel that has a native resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, 1500R curvature, and 120 Hz refresh-rate. The 34E7R has a more conservative 21:9 aspect ratio on its 34-inch, 1500R curved panel, but a much faster VA panel with mini-LED illumination that offers 2,304 LDZs, and 165 Hz refresh-rate. The 34E9R is the most advanced curved gaming monitor from the lot, with a 34-inch 1800R-curved OLED panel, 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution, 175 Hz refresh-rate, and 0.03 ms response time.
