Set in a twisted Lovecraftian universe, L'ultimo caso di Benedict Fox has been in development for a few years now and our partner, Plot Twist has delivered an incredible visual art style that hasn’t been seen in any Metroidvania game. It’s filled with gothic, art deco stylings of the Roaring Twenties with tones of rich mauves and deep grays that teleport players into an occult world filled with demonic entities, a story that delves into the human mind’s darker side and a mystery that must be solved.
Have you ever wondered if the mind lives beyond death? Would you dare to explore those deep, dark secrets? Detective Benedict Fox has a unique power via his evil demon companion who allows him to enter the memories of the deceased and harness strange powers. In a world called Limbo, he teeters back and forth between the present and the past, uncovering powerful emotions and painful traumatic experiences.
Plot Twist Games has done an amazing job creating an engaging storyline and demon-enhanced combat that requires tactical forethought and invites creative combinations. Benedict’s evolving skill tree adds a ton of tactical depth and visual splendor as you explore a world wrought with secret organizations, wicked rituals, and cold-blooded crime.
