Lo sviluppatore di Metroid Dread MercurySteam annuncia il suo prossimo gioco, nome in codice “Progetto Ferro”

If you’ve been wondering what the developer MercurySteam is up to now that Terrore metroid is available on the Nintendo Switch, it appears it’s already got a brand-new game in the works.

The Spanish-based studio is teaming up with Digital Bros and its publishing division 505 Games for a new title codenamed “Progetto Ferro“. It’s described as a brand new third-person action RPG set within a dark fantasy world.

The title will receive a “rilascio globale multipiattaforma” and the project’s initial development investment amounts to €27 million. Along with this, “the intellectual property of the game is co-owned by Digital Bros. and MercurySteam through the joint-venture MSE & DB S.L. set up under the Spanish Law”.

Here’s what the co-CEOs of Digital Bros had to say about this announcement:

Recentemente, MercurySteam has also released a series of patches for Metroid Dread su Nintendo Switch.
