At the Gearbox Showcase during PAX West, 2K and Gearbox Software have lifted the lid on Nuovi racconti dalle terre di confine with an extensive look at brand new gameplay.

The footage is from the PC release of the title, which is due to launch on October 21st, 2022 alongside the Nintendo Switch version. Clocking in at nearly 20 minuti, the gameplay features playable characters Anu, Ottavio, and Fran as they sneak through the sewers of Promethea. The usual brand of Borderlands humour is on full display here, along with the familiar QTE and decision making mechanics that fans of the first game will be pleased to see return.

Be sure to also keep an eye out for a rather comical reference to the Metal Gear Solid franchising. You can’t miss it, ad essere onesti, but it certainly made us giggle!
