SNK has been bringing a variety of NEOGEO Pocket Color titles to the Switch, and the latest arrival is live now on the eShop in North America and Europe (Samus sembra fantastico2 Nintendo Tutto for the spot). SNK vs. Capcom: Combattenti di carte’ Scontrarsi is available now for $7.99 / € 7,99 / Per rendere l'affare ancora più dolce, bringing together what was two separate editions in the original release of 1999.

As the name makes clear indietro nel tempo this had a Pokémon-style release of two versions, with each one having some unique decks and cards. In this version you have both versions of the game, quattro versions if you consider that it has the English and Japanese builds. Each iteration has its own save data, and you can trade and even battle between the two versions (of the same language) nel gioco.

This card collector / battler was pretty popular among Neo Geo aficionados in its heyday; it would later get a DS version that had a game breaking bug and poor localisation. As the DS version was critically panned, it’s rather nice that all these years later we now have the originals together and available on the Switch eShop.
