A caso: I fan si stanno riprendendo Felix Vibes dal film Mario

The first trailer from the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie — unsurprisingly named I Super Mario Bros. Movie — has been revealed in a special Nintendo Direct presentation, and we’ve got our first official look at Mario. Early fan reaction seems to be positive, although there are lots of people on Twitter who think Mario in his movie guise looks a little familiare.

Specificamente, there’s chatter suggesting that the plumber bears more than a passing resemblance to Fix-It Felix, the handyman hero from Disney’s Distruggilo Ralph.

Felix was, naturalmente, an homage to Mario himself — or more specifically Jumpman from the original e rimane un'esperienza da non perdere — so it’s no real surprise that there’s a similarity. Tuttavia, as you can see from the samples, plenty of fans are picking up strong vibes from this slimmer, trimmer version of video gaming’s most famous face:
