CPU wise, we’re looking at the brand new 12th gen Intel Core H-series of CPUs, although no mention of the exact SKUs was offered. There’s support for up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2 TB of storage. Sadly, graphics are limited to the Intel Iris Xe GPU built into the CPU, which means it might not be the ideal notebook for some of the types of work it was intended for.
Connectivity consists of a Thunderbolt 4 port, one USB-C port with DP and PD support, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port and a combo headset jack, most of which are located around the back of the notebook. There’s of course also support for WiFi 6E as well. Lenovo supplies a 100 W USB-C charger with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3. The 69 WHr battery is said to be good for up to eight hours of usage. Due to its rather large size and dual displays, you’re looking at lugging around 2 kg’s of notebook if you consider getting the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 when it launches in May for around US$1,399.
