Quirky Rhythm Game ‘Jack Jeanne’ Gets A Long-Overdue Western Localisation
Jack Jeanne — the visual novel and rhythm game featuring work from Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida — is finally getting an English and Traditional Chinese localisation, after publisher Broccoli first expressed interest in the idea back in 2019.
In an announcement on Twitter, the publisher confirmed that although the game’s voice acting and songs will remain in Japanese, English and Chinese text will be added to the game to expand its reach to new users.
The game stars Kisa Tachibana, a young woman who enrols at an all-boys school in disguise. Through rhythm gameplay via the game’s many musical numbers, you’ll need to help Kisa reach stardom whilst maintaining her disguise.
No release date is currently set, but with the game out in Japan already, we can’t imagine its launch will be too far off.
