Sega Announces Sonic Collab With Hololive VTuber Star Inugami Korone


As part of Sonic’s 31st anniversary this week, Sega held Sonic Station livestream celebrating the launch of Sonic Origins.

During the broadcast, Sega also announced a year-long collaboration with the Hololive Virtual YouTuber (and Sonic fan) Inugami Korone – titled “Sonikoro 2022″. She’s now got her own special Sonic-themed outfit, and in addition to this, it’s been revealed she’ll also be providing voice over work for the Japanese dub of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie.

It’s unknown at this stage what her exact role is on the movie, but for now, here’s a look at her new outfit:

Sega’s own VTuber crew also made an appearance during the broadcast. The newest addition Amy even got some time in the spotlight. You can see how the events unfolded in the video above.
